Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their client's team in Nevada. This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a drive to grow within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management review.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and support.
• Monitor and update accounting files, records, and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (internship or full-time).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
